Since July, 2008, Chin peoples from Burma have been coming to First Baptist Church. On February 8, 2009, they began their own church, The Chin Baptist Church. The church is now the United Myanmar Baptist Church, and while it is still largely made of those from various Chin cultures, those from the Karen and Kachin cultures in Burma are also members. Anyone from a Burmese background is welcome. The service is largely conducted in Burmese to serve most of the membership. They meet each Sunday at 10:00am on the Second Floor of the Main Building at First Baptist Church.

Enter First Baptist Church from the 11th Street Entry. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Go left through the doors. The Chin Church will be down the hall on the left.
