	Since September 2006, First Baptist Church has partnered with Kid's Hope USA to establish a mentoring program at Eugene Field Elementary School. A dozen FBC members, supported by an equal number of prayer partners, followed Kid's Hope's highly successful mentoring model - "one child, one hour, one church, one school" - to forge a meaningful relationship with the school's educators, students and parents.
