	Just as each life path takes its own turns, every person's faithwalk is different. Spiritual growth and Bible study can't thrive under a "one-size-fits-all" umbrella. So at First Baptist, we offer a variety of options for adults in every season of life-plenty of places to make friends, express yourself in ministry and grow in Christian faith.    Sunday morning Bible study    Wednesday evening Bible study    Men's ministries    Women's ministries    International missions & local ongoing ministries    Small groups Sunday morning Bible study feature everything from topic-driven discussion groups to traditional age-graded lessons. Study the Bible a book at a time. Join a large or small group-there are numerous options. Read and discuss classic works that enrich your spiritual walk. Relevance, depth and freedom to ask probing questions make our Sunday mornings a nourishing beginning to every week. Young adults to seniors, you're sure to find a class that fits your specific needs. On Wednesday evenings, we come together as family around the tables in our fellowship hall to enjoy dinner and a Bible study led by our pastor. Whether the focus takes us verse-by-verse through a Bible book or offers an in-depth study of a spiritual principle, these casual gatherings serve up a family-style dialogue meant to stimulate questions and conversation. Some call it the real "meat and potatoes" of spiritual learning and growth for our congregation. Men of all ages gather at Java Dave's (east of Broadway on N.W. 10th Street) for conversation, encouragement and prayer two Saturday mornings each month. In addition to these regular meetings, our Men's Ministry also organizes backpacking and fishing trips, an annual night of Redhawks baseball and other get-togethers throughout the year. Our Women's Ministry features seasonal retreats, regular Girls' Nights Out for dinner and a movie and other events designed to grow women's relationships with each other and with God. Married or single, younger, older or in between, as sisters in Christ, we learn from and with each other how to follow God's call for our lives. It does not take long to see that missions is the centerpiece of who we are at First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City. The expression of our missions passion means that there are numerous opportunities for adults to find hands-on missions and ministry opportunities in our community and around the world.
