	Cathy Manuel is the first Minister for the Community at First Baptist. She has been a member of First Baptist for eight years and has previously served as a Deacon. She was ordained to the Ministry by First Baptist Church in 2005. Previously she served as chaplain for Heartland Hospice in Shawnee and Oklahoma City. She was the Executive Director of Eldercare Access Center, a non-profit organization in Oklahoma City and Director of COEDD Area Agency on Aging in Shawnee. She has a Bachelor of Arts in music from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Master of Arts in Social Services from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas. She has completed 4 units of Clinical Pastor Education. She has served on the Board of Directors of Redlands Council of Girl Scouts, and is a Leadership Oklahoma City alumni (class XIX). She lives in Oklahoma City with her dogs Stella and Charlie.
