First Baptist OKC to host Baylor University seminar on global missions |

Baylor University officials will visit Oklahoma City on March 26 to discuss Baylor’s efforts in helping churches meet the missional needs of the world.
Guest speakers include Dr. Diana Garland, dean of Baylor’s School of Social Work, Dr. Dennis Tucker, associate dean, George W. Truett Theological Seminary, and Jennifer Smyer, director, Baylor SSW Global Mission Leadership.
“We invite anyone with an interest in learning more about Baylor’s missions focus to attend this event,” said Dr. Tom Ogburn, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City, which is co-hosting the event. “We’ll spend the evening in fellowship and worship to learn more about the face of 21st century missions.”
The meeting is March 26, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist OKC, 1201 North Robinson. The meal cost is $10 per person, and reservations are due by March 21. Call 405-232-4255 for reservations or more information.
