Sunday, March 9, 2008, 7:00 pm, Sanctuary - Ron Davis Organ Concert Ron is near and dear to us and we are excited to welcome him back to thrill our hearts! There will be no "blocking" the many glorious sounds Ron will draw out of our beautiful Casavant organ. Sunday, March 16, 2008, 7:00 pm, Sanctuary - "Faure Requiem" Presented by Hardin-Simmons University Concert Choir and Orchestra This university choir and orchestra will be on tour "traveling" through our area, and we are delighted to host them for this beautiful Palm Sunday event. Begin your "final four" Holy Week opportunities here by supporting these students! Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 6:00 pm, Fellowship Hall - Bob Willis, Sculptor e amazed at Bob's gift to create the image of Christ from a lump of clay. You will be spiritually moved and challenged by this artist accompanied musically by his wife. You might also be encouraged to take a "free throw" at learning how to sculpt as well! Thursday, March 20, 2008, 7:00 pm, Chapel - Bruce Greer: Singer, Songwriter, Pianist Bruce is no stranger to this congregation. Let him help you "center" your heart on Christ's mandate to love God and your neighbor through the remembrance of Jesus' last supper. Come take communion in this intimate setting and be renewed and refreshed in spirit. Friday, March 21, 2008, 7:00 pm, Sanctuary - "7 Words through Music and Movement" Presented by the Sanctuary Choir with Brittainy Holms and Dance Troop This Good Friday service will combine musical selections from our choir with interpretive dance for each of Christ's seven last words from the cross. We will end in darkness looking "forward" to the light of Easter Sunday. Sunday, March 23, 2008, 10:30 am, Sanctuary - Easter Sunday Celebration! This worship service will be a "slam dunk" rejoicing in Christ's victory over sin and death! We will celebrate Jesus' resurrection with words of power and songs of praise! Sunday, March 30, 2008, 10:30 am, Sanctuary - "Celebrate Life" Presented by Cynthia Clawson, Ragan Courtney and Dramatic Troop We will "turnover" our morning worship to Cynthia Clawson and Ragan Courtney with assistance from a small dramatic troop to present Ragan's acclaimed musical, "Celebrate Life." Come enjoy a fresh interpretation of this classic work. You will leave rejoicing in the new life that is found in Christ! Sunday, March 30, 2008, 7:00 pm, Chapel - "Worship Revolution" This worship experience is for everyone who is young at heart and wants to participate in "carrying" Christ to a new generation through contemporary musical expressions. We will end our month-long celebration dedicating our hearts and lives to the cause of Christ!
